Leading with our Values: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) During and Beyond COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is a global event, but it is not impacting every population or community in the same way. Inequitable access to healthcare, childcare and other services means not everyone is in the same state of emergency. Throughout history, disease outbreaks have highlighted structural inequities based on race, ethnicity, ability, socio-economic status and other social identities. So what does that mean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in our institutions? What does it look like to lead with our values? In this webinar we will:

- Discuss the disproportionate impact of pandemics on marginalized communities

- Examine the challenges of DEI work in a remote environment with stakeholders/staff
