Learn: What is your favorite part about learning something new?

My favorite thing about learning something new is the “full circle’ moment, when I can pass/share that new skill with someone else.

Network: What is your go-to networking tip?

When chatting at networking events. Try to use the person’s name at least 3 times during your interaction, to help remember their name.

Transfer: What resources/tools do you find most helpful in helping you retain knowledge?

Notes! Notes! Notes! Old fashioned note taking is my go to.

My planner! Ever since I was given an agenda book in the 5th grade. I can’t live without a daily planner of some sort. Especially now that I care for my mother fulltime. It helps me manage our day to day lives.

Just for Fun: Give us one little-known fact about you! 

I used to play clarinet and piano.

In Event Planning…We’re All on the Same Team

In basketball, you win as a team, and you lose as a team. It doesn’t matter if you personally play your best game, if you aren’t supporting each other and working together as a team, you won’t be successful. This is true of events too!
