A Few of My Favorite Things (to have Onsite at Events)

Whether you're getting back to in-person events now, or you've been back in-person for months, having a properly packed supply bag is crucial to feeling at ease when onsite. I know because I left two of my very favorite things behind recently and vowed to keep them in my computer bag, not my SUITCASE, since I either take a carry on OR check a larger suitcase but rarely need both. Lo and behold, I had to check a full size suitcase and my necessities were in my carry on suitcase. At home.

The video walks you through each of these items and why I love them. You can either watch the video, or you can go the route the rest of the Event Garde team goes: whenever I buy something, I tell them and without question, they add it to their own travel bags because they just know it will be worth it. So you can trust me, trust them, watch the video for more convincing, or just click below, add to cart and have the items before your next event.

These are ever-changing and there are a million options. I'm not even sure where mine came from or how long I've had it. I do recommend you find one that will charge whatever devices you will have onsite, comes with enough ports and power to get you through an extra 12 hours, and is portable enough for your needs.

The Effects of Omicron on Facilitated Meetings

As a result of the Omicron variant, we’ve seen a number of clients this year move trainings, facilitations, and strategic planning sessions from scheduled January and February dates to early spring. While there’s not a one-sized-fits-all approach, here are some key considerations about whether or not to postpone that facilitated exercise with a small stakeholder group or that much-needed strategic planning session with your board of directors.
